How TES® Works

What TES HT is

TES HT is a rapid bedside system based on very low-power, non-ionizing radiofrequency sensing. It is designed for use by trained healthcare professionals to assess intracranial electromagnetic abnormalities and support earlier clinical evaluation, risk stratification and prioritization within the existing diagnostic pathway, before definitive imaging when clinically indicated.

How the technology works

TES HT operates across a broad radiofrequency range (0.5–6.5 GHz) and collects signal information from multiple angles around the head. As the signals interact with brain tissues, their electromagnetic behaviour changes according to tissue composition and the presence of intracranial abnormalities. These signal variations are measured and processed algorithmically to generate a standardized output.

From signal to result

1

Send

Very low-power RF, 0.5–6.5 GHz. Multi-frequency / multi-angle.

2

Interact

Different tissues and pathological changes have different electromagnetic properties.

3

Measure & process

Amplitude, phase and scattering patterns are combined algorithmically across multiple signal paths.

4

TES HT output

Standardized result with spatial information on the detected electromagnetic abnormality.

Temnography® measures tissue-specific electromagnetic behaviour. It does not reconstruct conventional anatomy.

What the examination looks like in practice

The TES HT examination is designed for simple integration into the clinical workflow.

  1. 1

    Position

The patient lies supine and the head is centered inside the scanning chamber.

  2. 2

    Acquire

Trained staff start the standardized acquisition; the scan is automated.

  3. 3

    Result

The system generates a standardized output for clinical interpretation within the intended triage role.

A broader technology platform

Temnography® combines low-power broadband RF sensing with computational analysis to generate standardized information from tissue-specific electromagnetic behaviour. TES HT represents the first clinically advanced product family based on this technology core, while additional devices and applications may be developed through dedicated engineering, algorithms and clinical validation.

TEMNOGRAPHY owns the Temnography® technology, including the related trademarks, patents and know-how. B&B S.r.l. has operated under mandate from TEMNOGRAPHY as manufacturer of the TES HT family and has been responsible for its clinical and regulatory development.
